"Recently moved to Amherst and we needed a new mattress. We went there on a Saturday morning in October and were immediately greeted by several employees. They were friendly without being overbearing. We went duration to the mattresses and stayed trying them out. We found one we loved and they helped us check out and get set up for delivery. They told us it would be a week or two but to our surprise we were called on Thursday that it was in. Then they also surprised us to say that they don't have any delivery drivers so it would probably still be the next week. I don't understand why you'd call to tell us out was in but you have no way to get it to us but oh well. We had family in town on Saturday and we went and picked it up. The gentleman at the warehouse was very helpful and we had the best sleep we've had in over a year!"

"Bypass this location. Horrible customer service. My family and I have used Schewels for 30+ years and after this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. We had to continually contact them because we were given no updates on our order. We made our purchase on 6/30/23 and we just got it today. To make matters worse, they didn’t bring the necessary tools to put the furniture together. We waited almost an hour and half for them to come back to finish(we live 20 mins from Amherst). When they returned, they had someone else’s delivery on the truck. No apologies. Nothing. So very unprofessional."

She interacted with my mom and son so well and adored my son even through his energy!!! I made the best choice on a sofa set that was perfect for ME and my needs and that's all thanks to Angie!!!! "Angela was excellent, I walked in and she greeted me promptly. The patio table and chairs were on the floor that was in the sales paper. I was even more impressed in person and made the purchase. "The service at Schewels in Amherst was amazing! We appreciate the Schewels staff overall. Everyone was pleasant and easy to chat with, even though we came at the end of of the day, on a Saturday. Angela was personable, friendly, and didn't hover but was readily available to chat with us, when we had questions. She is the best! The delivery drivers were also very friendly. They provided great service, considering the awkward space in our split level and that we had them bring the heaviest sofas ever. Thank you, all! You made this experience seamless. We will definitely be back again!!"
