"Overall: The House Eatery is a classic in Covington and serves some delicious sandwiches! I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting. The Eatery is the second oldest building in Covington. Food: I had a ham, kielbasa, bacon, and lettuce sandwich with a pita that was stuffed with veggies. The sandwich was fantastically delicious, as well as the refreshing pita. Service: The staff was knowledgeable in The Eatery's history as well as the menu. They were very kind and helpful. Price: The prices are on point! This is a much better option than McDonald's for the family."

"I absolutely LOVE The Hattie! I just started eating chicken salad last year and had tried it at a few places. It was okay. But then I tried it here and wow!! I regretted never having come here to eat it all of these years. It’s truly AMAZING! It’s a simple recipe and not overpowering. Pair it with a soda and chips and it’s the perfect combo! I love it so much and can’t wait to go back and get another! Definitely check out this hole in the wall spot in Covington, VA!"
"Loved this place. Don't be fooled by the front, the inside is very clean and cozy. I had a loaded potato ans it was awesome and very filling. Service was surprisingly quick and very courteous. They were very accurate at taking and filling your order even when you have special requests. The food tastes fresh and I think the dressing was made there."
