"Extremely rude, and unprofessional. The man ringing me up told me that I looked different in my id because my hair was shorter in the picture than it is now?? well of course it is ? hair grows!!! My I.d was not expired or damaged in any way and the man told me I needed a new id because he doesn’t believe it is me, then still proceeded to sell me the beer. I have never had such a rude experience. He told me if I didn’t like the service I was more than welcome to write a review and that he “looked forward to it” all the while the lady working behind him kept telling him to stop and just make the sale. Will NEVER go back here."

"It's literally such a cute small town gas station! I was on a trip with my 2 kids, and this was the best place to stop. Small, private bathroom with a changing table. Its a small enough place that i wasn't worried about my kids walking down the isles on their own. The owner was helpful and had a little baby hanging out with one of the employees. This is definitely one of those small town gems."

"Normally I have amazing experiences at Jake's since this is where I always come for gas, snacks and drinks. I even love the coffee. I get bold rock a lot from there and am normally recognized with mask and all. I always have my I.D. and they scan it, the normal thing. The guy there now, took my i.d. which I had ready and questioned if it was really me, asked me to pull my mask down and then was still seemingly hesitant. I normally don't make huge deals but it just was a lot. Especially if I'm a constant customer. Still gave 4 stars because I do love the service there normally. But, just was kind of offended as if I was lying or had a fake i.d. but anyway still good and still would go back of course."

"Wow. Pleasantly surprised by this place. We are in the area picking up a dog from Old Mill Doodles who recommended stopping off here for a coffee. They have some of the best coffee here, they do it right. We had the Breve and a muffin which were both awesome. Almost worth driving two hours back for their coffee!"
