Chef and Owner Shawn Hayes, along with his wife Rita, have been serving the community for over 25 years. What started as a small 30 seat café has grown into a Cozy Café, Sports Bar, and Catering & Event Space, making it one of Virginia's best known caterers.
Situated in the picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Café offers a delicious and varied menu including appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, poultry, and desserts. The full bar services provide a great selection of beverages to accompany your meal.

Special all-you-can-eat buffets are available for Easter, Mother's Day, and Thanksgiving. "Blue Ridge is a local eatery and has been for some time, although not necessarily our favorite. My daughter and I decided to stop in for lunch and ordered their liver and onions. Now, I know this is not for everyone, but I grew up eating it and my family the same. Today's fare though...not the best. The liver was sliced very thin, fried until very dry and tough. The onions were very soft, almost "squishy" and all topped with lots of bacon bits. We also ordered the green beans as our side and even though the beans had a nice flavor, again, smothered with bacon bits. The shining end to it all? I had 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce (very thinly drizzled) and my daughter had their berry topped cheese cake. They did keep the soft drinks coming which helped wash it all down. It's all up to you. Nice local atmosphere."
"We (my husband, mother-in-law, and I) came for the Thanksgiving Day meal and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious. They provided vegetarian stuffing for us, which was so kind. Sydney was our server. She was awesome; kind, attentive, and just a lovely person all around. Every staff member was courteous and welcoming. The atmosphere was homey and inviting. We will definitely come back here to dine again. Also, the Thanksgiving Day meal will likely be a family tradition now!"
"Top notch friendly service giving a homey feel. Awesome fries, nice sized southwestern salad made of mixed greens not iceberg. Would have liked a little more corn and beans. Catfish was not exactly done throughout, but the breading was tasty. Probably frozen product. Atmosphere classic family style setting. Not fancy but one of the better places in that area."
"This place is always packed when we drive by! So we finally stopped in and we were impressed by how clean It was and the great service! The brisket nachos and the French fries were great! Thought there wasnt a lot of brisket on the nachos- the flavor was great. I also got the French dip which was pretty good, but I would suggest getting the added mushrooms because I thought it was a bit plain without it. Were going to go again sometime for the chicken nachos"
