"We’re from North Carolina and friends told us if we are ever in NoVa we have to get bubble tea from RareTea. They weren’t kidding. The tea was delicious. Such a cute shop with friendly workers. "The best boba tea house in the area. I’m originally from the west coast where boba tea houses outnumbered Starbucks for a reason. I’ve looked around for a good boba place in NOVA and failed and I’m now very thankful that they open one up a franchisee from California. Highly recommend their taro shake and Thai tea with lychee jelly."
"The pearls are well made here. They were out of the regular boba so I had brown sugar, still good but definitely sweeter. The strawberry tea was pretty good! It's not too sweet and not too much ice. My friend's drink had a ton of crushed ice though. Service was pleasant and efficient. Seating is limited but it wasn't crowded since it's spaced out well. Wait time wasn't bad and the line went fast. We went during their last hour before closing and service was still available, which is a win for me. Thanks!"
"I love bubble tea and have tried a decent number of places, so very happy to see another shop open up in the area! and I love it! The bubble tea is delicious! Personally find the regular sugar to be just right here, not overly sweet. One thing I love is the ice, they use the small chip pieces so most of your drink is actually drink, not ice! The cups are also made of the nice hard plastic. And the straws are very durable too! Weird things but they stand out to me. I of course had to get my favorite, Thai milk tea, in order to compare to other shops and it is great! I also tried their signature Okinawa milk tea and it's also very good! Will be back very often!"
