Northside 29

"I always pass Northside 29 at inopportune times, where it's either too early or too late to stop and grab something. Finally hit it at the right time, and stopped in. The place was busy, took a bit to get seated, but it was worth it. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious. Highly recommend checking them out."

"Our server was nice, but that's about it. Our table and silverware were dirty. We had no ketchup, and had no one checking in or able to flag down, so it took 2 other booths to find some. The fries had an odd taste, as did my chicken strips. Almost like fried fish, but I'm not even sure that that explains it accurately. No flavor on the outside and just a greasy weird flavor. They also literally poured grease when I was breaking a piece off -- it was like the chicken was crying from shame. He did his best with the burger, but only because he was hangry and there was 1.5hr drive to go. We didn't even finish our meals, just sat and waited for the check to get there (10 or so minutes after we gave up on the food). It has decent reviews but that was nothing close to our experience."

"I've been eating here since it became Northside 29. There is always varying service and food. However today was one where I am just frustrated. The appetizers were great! The food... my fish was raw. It was a clear, glossy clump. The waitress didn't come by. The whole table was out of drinks and had to eat their dinner without a drink. I tried to get the waitress' attention and even went to the hostest stand (no one was there). She came by to ask about the check and I explained the situation. She disappeared again for awhile and we had to get her attention again for the drinks. While she was getting the drinks she asked if everything else was okay and o again mentioned the fish. She took my tray and they refried the fish even after it had been split open. It was given back to me as we were ready to go. I paid for the fish and I took the leftovers home however, they are going in the trash, there is so much oil in the box that it actually ate through the box. Also, not sure what the issue was but I was given 3 pieces of fish and other tables were given 4."

"We’ve driven past this restaurant countless times and decided to stop for lunch. The food was delicious! The environment was super clean, the staff was friendly, and there was plenty of parking. Get the potato skins. Not much to loom at but absolutely mouth watering!"

"A reliable place for good food, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We went for breakfast and they have generous portions as well as a wide selection. I had a western omelet while my uncle had a western omelet but substituted the ham for corned beef and substituted a tortilla instead of bread. They charge a bit for changes but it was well worth it."
