"My wife & I came here after hiking in the Shenandoah National Park so we were a bit underdressed and sat at the bar which is separate from the dining room. We absolutely loved our dinner. We got the Jamaican jerk wings, pork belly, & split the steak with mac and cheese and finished it with the deconstructed cheesecake dessert. The food was amazing. We were super pleased with every single dish. What really made this a 10/10 experience was Hank, the bartender, who was unbelievably welcoming and recommended all the best dishes. We absolutely loved his great service and his friendly personality! Overall a lovely experience!"

"Came for dinner while on a getaway weekend. Solid dinner. Everything was delicious. We shared the cajun-crusted fried oysters to start, which had a nice crust and had a great flavor. I had the pork tenderloin which was well seasoned and juicy and my husband had the ribeye which was great. The carrot cake and apple crisp were the best desserts to finish our meal with. Our waitress, Kristen, was friendly and service overall was excellent. Ambiance was warm and airy. Highly recommend!"

"I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The drinks were crafted to perfection, with a great selection of cocktails. The food was an absolute delight. Everything was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was on point. We were thoroughly impressed, we even went back again the same day! The attention to detail in the preparation and the quality of ingredients really shone through. Don’t skip past the Money sauce! All in all, this restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. It's the kind of place where you can savor a wonderful meal, enjoy great company, and leave with a smile on your face. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu."

"We used to frequent the former restaurant in this location and were anxious to see how this would stack up. They have decorated nicely but more low key and subdued. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table right away. Server was personable though seemed to still be learning but checked on us frequently and answered our questions. Food was presented nicely. We enjoyed the burgers, sirloin and pork loin for dinner. Each of us agreed it was prepared perfectly and taste met our expectations. We will be going back and look forward to trying other things from their menu."

"Honest, elegantly presented food. We had an amazing dining experience at The Chop House Bistro. The service (at our table for dinner and the bar for digestivos and dessert) was professional, yet relaxed and inviting. The food is exactly what you expect from a farm to table restaurant. Everything was fresh, simply but deliciously presented and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the pork belly (with a korean flavor twist) and mushroom croquettes for appetizers, the ribeye and filet with chèvre mac and cheese and asparagus for dinner, and for dessert we devoured the snickerdoodle deconstructed cheesecake with dessert wine and espresso martini. Fabulous. A lot for two people, but we skipped lunch and prepared to enjoy ourselves this evening. So glad we did. They offer an impressive wine and cocktail list which you can pair well with their dinner and dessert menu. If you are local to the area, book a date night. If you are traveling through, add this to your must try list for a local dinner. We are already planning our next night out at the Chop House Bistro and we are excited to try new dishes from their fresh menu. A true gem to Luray."
