"You need to complete lengthy forms and questionnaires prior to your scheduled surgery. What they don't tell you, however, is that they estimate the total cost and have you pay upfront, during the check-in procedure. In my case, they showed me a printout with my insurance name and the percentage (20%) that my insurance charge as my co-insurance for the in-network facility. The problem is that they have NOT actually contacted my insurance to get a pre-authorization. The total charge they show you is apparently based on the full blown prices that after the insurance discount become the "negotiated" or actual price that insurance will pay them and based on which my actual 20% should have been charged. In my case they wanted more than $12K for a 20-minute removal of a skin cyst, and correspondingly more than $2,000 upfront. Then again, they did not bother to actually contact my insurance, obtain the negotiated price and charge me based on that. Or, send the claim to insurance and bill me thereafter, which I believe is the normal medical practice. No, thank you very much."

"I would never go back to have surgery at this place again. Never had problems with my neck. Dr Harmina, didn't finish the surgery I had a tube put down my throat and never had issues with my throat and now I do. And had to get a breathing treatment done."

"Gross Negligence I have never been more horrified by the treatment of a patient. Dr. Simeone showed incredible incompetence, caused intense physical harm, and disgusting narcissism when working with a loved one who is a complex patient. He grabbed the foot of the patient with intense and debilitating chronic pain, consistently over-stated that he would be able to suddenly eliminate her chronic pain, and he did not ask for consent in all interactions with the patient (besides paperwork). While he may have capacity to work with simple patients in simple standard treatments, he lacks skills, competence, being trauma informed, or using a person centered approach to his clients. If your case is more complex, he will only help if he finds your case to be interesting and therefore objectify you. Some doctors heal, others use their man-splaining powers to control your sense of safety in your own body. He is not worth the medical treatment, and I highly advise that you consider care from anyone else."

"I would give more than 3 stars. The place was very nice, and everyone was very professional. Unfortunately, I ended paying more than I ended up owing based on my insurance contribution changing. To get a refund from them for over-payment takes months. And, you have to ask first. They don't just figure it out and send you the money. So, I caution anyone who goes here or to any St. Anne's hospital to think twice about how much you put down for a deposit. Pay up-front the lowest amount they will accept."
