"Hands down the best place in Michigan to buy running/workout shoes. Extremely knowledgeable staff willing to work with you to find the perfect shoe with fair prices on top of it all for their gear and shoes. Also to the 1 or 2 people for some reason rating this store not a 5 star and complaining about their feet feeling sore the next day or two after.. you feet are supposed to be sore the next day or two after! I’ve been running for decades and that is mandatory for each new shoe. A couple days of soreness as you work them in."
"If you want a new pair of walking, jogging, or running shoes, go to Running Gear on Dixie. Bring or wear your current pair of shoes. They will examine the wear patterns to find the best shoe for you Paul brought out 4 boxes of shoes initially. Then as I gave feedback from walking in them, he continued bringing out more. The 11th box was the clear winner. I cannot recommend them more highly. Over the years, I have purchased more than 7 pairs of shoes from them. Getting the correct shoe for me stopped my knee issues."

"I have been a customer here since 2007 (and my mom has been one over 10 years longer). The staff are knowledgeable about all shoe companies and don't pigeon-hole you into just trying one brand like some other stores do. They provide reasoning for why a shoe could be the best for you, but at the end of the day leave it up to each runner to pick what fits best. I highly recommend this store for any new or experienced runner."
