"A few weeks ago, I was referred to Virtua cardiologist by my Virtua primary for a heart monitor. I was promptly checked in and sat and waited for my name to be called. After noticing people who came in after me were called back, thirty minutes in, I went to the desk to inquire if I was forgotten. The Checkin person disappeared to the back for 8 minutes then returned to let me know someone would be helping me shortly. When I was finally called back, I asked the nurse’s assistant what took so long. She explained to me that the person installing the heart monitors that day called out and the front staff might not have been informed. Here is the issue. The nurse had me removed my top. I told her I wasn’t wearing a bra. I asked her for a gown and to make sure the door was locked. She mumbled that installation of the monitor will be quick and did not give me a gown. She clean and shaved my chest and then proceeded to explain for the next 8 minutes, with my bare chest exposed, the process/procedures for using the heart monitor. I was humiliated!"
