"I have been trying to get in contact with somebody for services for my daughter for the first steps program for well over a month. NOBODY has called me back. I have even gone to the building. Everyday I speak to somebody there is always a different story. The are short staffed, Miss Jen will call you back with in 48 hours, there is a wait list, if your intake is done we are just waiting for the schedule to come out, there’s no room in the class rooms, I gave her your message. There has even been a time that I have called & the receptionist didn’t ask for my name or number & she hung up. I have been told I will receive a call back and still nobody EVER calls. I have DONE intake on my first phone call, it’s just a matter of putting my daughter IN the program. They have taken my information on SEVERAL different occasions and always a promise is made that they will get right on it. If you are a family in need or have a young child with severe behavioral health issues DO NOT CALL THEM and waste your time. I just want to get my daughter some help because she has been through A LOT and her feelings and emotions are very difficult for her to deal with, I am trying to set her up to not have behavioral issues when she starts kindergarten next year so that she can focus on learning and building her to have a strong foundation. This program and the people who run it offer NO HELP at all they also have NO OTHER SUGGESTIONS for you and your family. They just say that they will call back!"
