"Food was great! This review is for my first experience which was this past Sunday - so the bar and restaurant was slow, not a lot of people. I can’t really blame them for it looking slow on a Sunday but I imagine the atmosphere is a lot better when there is more people. The style of the bar and dining room is very nice though. Between 4 people we shared 2 appetizers - the Village Nachos w/chicken and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. The bites of chicken for the nachos was cooked perfectly and overall the nachos were very good (sorry for the blurry photo). I couldn’t stop picking on the Spinach and Artichoke Dip either. For my main, I normally don’t go for alternative proteins or vegetarian or vegan meals but was looking for a lighter option that wasn’t a salad and opted for the Black Bean Burger. I may not be able to give a fair review as I don’t eat black bean burgers often, but I can tell that this was definitely a consciously made black bean burger. Structurally, it mostly held up but bits would occasionally fall off while eating. Not something I took much issue with at all, as I assume there was no egg or breadcrumbs used, possibly keeping it vegan and/or gluten free. I couldn’t tell you exactly how it was made into a patty. The taste however I thought was very good, for me it tasted mostly of cumin. I chose the house “village simple” salad as a side, which I was actually extremely surprised by as the dressing was outstanding for a simple salad in my opinion. I had their Witbier/Wheat Beer - Nit Wit along with my meal which I enjoyed as well. Overall experience was positive. I was surprised that the service seemed a bit slow for how seemingly slow it appeared. I don’t think it interfered that much with my overall experience though, our server was very nice."

"Village is the only place to go for the bar vibe on Main Street. Beer is good with some variety. I love their fish and chips, though chips in all entrees we ordered were a bit cold and hard, not hot and crispy. Also recommend their pulled pork. You can add it on Nachos, or order the sliders. The steak was good, beyond what we expected. The problem with most breweries is that they don’t serve food or they don’t have good food. But this one has beyond average for both drinks and food with a very reasonable price."

"We decided to check this place out for happy hour deals. Online there are a few happy hour items all listed for 6 dollars each. We ordered the burger bites, the pretzel bites, and a beer. The food came quickly but the beer didn't arrive until we were almost done. When the bill came, the burgers were $10 instead of $6 and the beer wasn't charged as happy hour even though it was ordered before 6. Wonder why that beer didn't show up until just after 6... When I challenged the bill, the waitress told us that prices changed from the website. The beer price was adjusted to happy hour price. Ultimately, the whole experience was marred by the bait and switch as well as the service. Onto the food, it was OK, but nothing special. Burger bites were small and lukewarm. Pretzel bites had good honey mustard and cheese sauce, but the pretzels were lukewarm when served. Save yourself the headache of a surprise bill and sketchy service."

"Great spot to come! We can just an hour and a half before closing, and the staff was so welcoming. This place had tons of options beer and food, and even desserts which was amazing there Specialty cocktails were super delicious. I highly recommend coming in here. The place itself is very aesthetically pleasing and nice. Also, it was super clean in here as well."
