"Attended St Michaels from 1959 through 1966. I have swell memories of the kids and nuns. My best memories are of singing in the Boys Choir with Fr. LeBourf (?). We had a great time, traveled all over singing. At some point we had a new lay teacher named Mrs. McKenzie. Being a boy's choir, we quickly called ourselves "McKenzie's Raiders". Overall, the kids were lovely and the teachers loved us. I left in the 7th grade to go to pubic school, at age 14, I felt I wanted a less restrictive environment, what a mistake. Public schools were a dread. Oh, well. I'll focus on the good times. I'm writing, hoping old friends will reach out."
