Tollgate Ob-Gyn

"Women of menopausal age have all heard the horror stories of their OBGYN not believing their symptoms and gaslighting their patients around their complaints of peri and menopausal symptoms and making patients feel totally dismissed and without hope - Tollgate OBGYN is THAT office. I met with Jen, one of their nurse practitioners, she was incredibly rude, argumentative, dismissive, and rushed me through both appointments I have had with her. She dismissed almost every single symptom I have been having by saying "nope" and shaking her head and then when I said it seemed as though she would not prescribe HRTs for me she aggressively said a few times, loudly and aggressively: "Did I say that?" When I said I wasn't "trying to be a B*" but that I was just so discouraged she looked at me as if to say "well you are being one." She offered me a 2 minute rushed explanation of an out-of-pocket more natural alternative and then said said no, she would not prescribe HRTs for me; she wished me the best of luck finding another provider, and on the way out threw a fake "You're not alone" at me. I was disgusted by the fact that this female health care provider was more interested in leaving at the end of the day than helping me; she left the office and drove past me while I was sitting in the parking lot crying. Absolutely disgusted by the way she handled me. While I was emotional and discouraged, I expect my health care professional to be just that, PROFESSIONAL. She was not. I was unhappy, discouraged, and aggravated and I foolishly expected a level of compassion and empathy and a desire to help me from a nurse collecting my payment and insurance. Instead she was totally dismissive, rude, and aggressive. Please do NOT go to Tollgate OBGYN if you are dealing with menopause at any stage. Tollgate has an aesthetics business as well - giving botox and filler injections - she had no problem pushing that to me my first appointment; it seems maybe they take menopausal women hoping they'll get injections. Avoid at all cost if you're not pregnant."

"I haven't even been able to get in here to be seen due to them being so busy BUT every interaction I have had on the phone with them has been so pleasant no matter who answered. They are so patient, extremely responsive and are so respectful of their patients and their opinions/ wants/needs. I would highly recommend this practice and hope to get in with them for my next pregnancy."

"Kris is the one i spoke to i wanted to switch obygns so i told her i needed to. She said thats fine you just have to come in to sign a release form. I went to my new obgyn as i had an appointment the same day and my new obgyn contacted them to get my file and Kris told them she never spoke to me or heard anything of this. Also this place didnt bother to mention i was anemic!!!! im already 8 months along and i just found out through my new obgyn even though it says on my old files i was anemic but never was told. It is horrible place and theyre fake."

So refreshing to know that this way of practicing medicine still exists. If you are looking for an amazing group for Obgyn this is the place to go."

Tina my midwife has been one of the most helpful and understanding providers I have ever had, she really cares about her patients.
