"Walked in to get food, lady there said “if you’re here to watch the pens game, we close at 2.” We were actually there to get something quick to eat after playing at grandview. Table right beside came at the same time and the same lady said “you guys can order.” Haha I never leave 1 Star, but when you treat someone (excellent tippers) like that you receive a review like this. Show some customer service or at least be nice about it. Terrible 1st visit."
"Friendly service, good food. The burgers in particular are tasty. Some weekends there's live music, which is pretty awesome. Drinks are reasonably priced, which is also awesome."
"So tonight we went for the first time to TJs Pub. Upon entering we were greeted by our waitress who was very nice throughout our whole experience. However, we ordered or meals and received our salads within about 5 minutes. We ordered a burger, and a sirloin steak. There were four other tables of 2 in the entire restaurant, and maybe 15 people in the bar. As we watched wing order after wrong order go to the bar I became a little concerned about where our food was. 25 minutes later I was irritated, 45 minutes later I was really disappointed. 50 minutes after finishing our salads our food finally arrived. The sirloin was a piece of gristle, the burger was ok at best. 50 minutes in a restaurant whose capacity must be 125 people minimum with maybe 35 people total. I mean a burger takes about 6-8 minutes to cook and a sirloin medium maybe 7 minutes. But fifty minutes. That means it wasn't even started for forty. I won't be going back.... Really disappointed, especially for a $38 meal. I feel as if they are more concerned with serving the bar patrons than anyone in the dining area."
"My husband and I stopped in for the first time for breakfast. I had pancakes and he had an omelet. Both were very good and you got a lot of food for the price, which was very reasonable. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will most definitely go back and look forward to trying lunch or dinner!"
