"The team on staff on the day of my visit were not helpful, friendly or knowledgeable. When I entered the store, there were but a handful of customers. While store staff could be seen shuffling through inventory, not one looked up to offer a greeting. I spent more than a half hour trying on various items. No matter how many times I left the fitting room, in various states of undress, to obtain different sizes, not one of the employees offered assistance. The worst part of the experience came when I was ready to pay. The store had a promotion going that provided for 30% off all tops and I had a mailed coupon for 40% off one full-priced item. (I was looking to purchase a full priced pair of pants and a sweater). I presented the staff with my coupon but was told I was not eligible for the discount. The manager was brought into the dispute and she reiterated that I did not hold a qualifying account with the store and that only certain Talbots customers paying with their premier credit cards were eligible for the discount. I left the store. When I got home, I went to Talbots.com, ordered the same items and received the Discounts without any question. It was bad enough being treated like I somehow wasn’t a worthy customer but it was worse knowing that the staff doesn’t even know what promotions the company is offering. Be careful, at this location you may end up paying full price for something that is actually on sale."

"So far the most unfriendly talbots store i have gone to. I have shopped with talbots for almost 10 years now. I entered this store said hello to 3 associates none of them responded for all the 3times so i walked out; am guessing they didn't care. Poor customer service."

"I have never bought clothing at this store. I came here.to buy a gift card for a family member. The quality of the clothes here is impressive. Most of the material is made of heavy cotton and cotton blends. They sell for both the petite and full sized women. However, the prices are definitely on the higher end. You are paying for a higher quality product."
