"I first stopped at Evergreen for ice cream after a day of kayaking and of course it was yum! but I really wanted to go back and have breakfast inside, which I finally got to do last weekend. Everything about it, from the staff, the atmosphere and the food was perfect. I don't know how they can produce such a fresh tasting fruit salad in January but they do. I went old school with creamed chip beef and it was great. Definitely home made with chucks of meat which was different and tasty. And they don't skimp on the serving! I love old school diners and would include this in that group. Looking forward to visiting again."

"What a gem!! We went for a local hike and while on our way back decided to make a spontaneous stop here for lunch. We got the chicken steak sandwich (added grilled onions and tomato sauce; it was huge), pizza burger, and curly fries. Loved every bite!! The fries were my favorite - super flavorful and non greasy. Ended with delicious ice cream- we had the soft serve twist and the hard scooped carmel. Definitely make this a stop if you’re nearby."

"LOVE this little gem. I pass by 20 breakfast spots on the way to Evergreen, and dont even think twice about switching it up. Even though it always seems busy on weekend, we never wait too long. The wait staff are all kids on summer break, and they are all so sweet. Food is consistently delicious- omelettes are made on a flattop- old school, and the waffle is perfection. G.O."

"Really cute place. So many ice cream options. Have not had their lunch but have heard from a close friend that it’s pretty good and great price. The old school vibes are immaculate-go on tuesdays and you’re sure to see a ton of classic or customized cars. Would be a fun place for a cute ice cream date. "Almost at 75 years in business and it sits right off Rt 70 and has that old school charm. My breakfast was excellent and so was the service. I will definitely would stop by again!"
