"First-time customer and we were given a 20% discount. The portions were large and tasty for the cost of the dinner. I was able to make 2 meals out of the gyro dinner plate. I chose fries and salad for my sides and after eating some of the gyros and all my fries (with the extra tzatziki sauce,) I saved the rest of my gyros meat and added it to the salad. Since I wanted to try the gyros salad, I was able to make it with my leftovers and get the best of both worlds! We will be back."

"I'm new to area moving here from Bellwood. Usually it hard to find good food and this style and type food. They pretty much have everything and even have create you own dishes. I was impressed with the food the service and everything. They also give you large portions from your money."

"I ordered 2 Italian beefs dipped hot peppers American cheese they sent beef and dry bread told me to order a hot dog and they would throw in the slice of cheese and peppers. Would not replace my order never again been ordering for years and could not believe the customer service like this no stars period in response to the reply I did check the boxes for add peppers add cheese for added charges as well as typed them in the notes. The customer service was poor"

"So I am finally leaving a shining review for this wonderful place which I first visited December of last year. My family and I were on our way to the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora but I mentioned to my wife that I wasn't interested in dining anywhere at the mall. She mentioned she could go for some gyros so I was Googling venues on the way to our destination. There was a slight detour off of the interstates for going to Flip's before making it to Aurora but it was well worth it. Excellent Chicago/Greek grill with tasty food in a cozy dining space, there's outdoor seating as well but it was December in the Chicago area. Extensive menu at reasonable prices and the staff are super friendly. I live all the way up in Beach Park so I'm not sure when's the next time I'll ever make it down here. Understandably there are hundreds of Chicago grill restaurants in Chicago and the suburbs alone but Flip's definitely stands above most I've been to in Lake County. I do love Chicago/Greek grill food and never grows old on me. Always try my best to support local and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s)."
