"In Sept 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that matatized to my brain and I another primary cancer in my breast. It was by the grace of god I went to Newton Hospital as Dr Cheng was the oncologist on staff. Not once have I ever had to question Dr Cheng on her decisions with my medical treatment or care. She layed out a plan and went over it with me and believe me it was ALOT as I was very sick . Dr Cheng always informs you of your options .She explains everything to you so thoroughly and takes her time doing so also leaves the door open in case you want a second opinion. (Which I have never felt like I had to do ) Dr Cheng always has a plan B and in my case there was a C. Dr Cheng makes you feel like you are her only patient she is caring for when unfortunately you know thats not the case as you see many more in her office . Dr Cheng is both extreamly compassionate and professional. Not only is she there for her patients but for your family members as well . She listens to you as does everyone on her team and in the office. Always returns phone calls in a prompt response time . I have never had a problem getting medications filled , questions answered , referrals for other specialist, treatment , blood work, scans or any other needs. Actually her office handles everything as she always says you have other things to focus on and worry about. I also used the infusion suite at Newton which her office is located in. Dr Cheng is known to come visit during your treatment just to see you, lift your spirits and see if you need anything. I am a firm believer I am alive and in remission today because of the wonderful care I receive by Dr Cheng and staff. Yes, I'm still going for check ups every 2 months and get scanned every 6 . Dr Cheng , Clarrisa, Beth , Catherine, Donna and Lynn ...Thank You for compassion and for always being there and for providing the best care."

"warning not only was Dr cheng given up on me after a well her office staff told me if you having any kind of pain during treatments you will need to bring your own pain medicine so am guide that walk out on there practice it was the best thing that happen to me because i been going to overlook medical center carol cancer center for treatment for about 2 years now and my oncologist has great bedside manner and he has voluntary told me if your in any kind of pain if you have to do is ask and we will prescribed the medicine talk about why all doctor office's need to be inside a hospital . Not to mention she avoid the fact that i was getting sicked from an immunotherapy medicine called opdivo which lead to my cancer progressing thank god am on a medicine called Keytruda and inlyta"

"In response to the earlier review that the staff is not nice, I would have to disagree. I have been going to this office since I was diagnosed with cancer back in 2015. Three and half years of treatments and still follow ups. The staff has been wonderful! Catherine the receptionist is gentle and caring and Beth the nurse is open and caring as well. I have only seen Dr Cheng twice since she took over for Dr. Kane but so far so good."
