After researching and pricing dishwashers at several vendors, we called Designer Appliances and worked with Briana who was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. She not only answered our questions but worked with us with regard to the various charges - cheerfully matching a warranty price from another vendor and addressing disposal fees. Her responses sealed the deal for us: we could support a local business and still enjoy competitive pricing. We also were delighted that the dishwasher was delivered so promptly (we ordered it on Monday and it came on the following Thursday). We received regular updates re. the timing of the delivery which were also helpful. The driver, Melvin, and his two assistants were very careful and thorough, both in removing the old dishwasher and installing the new one. They were courteous, considerate, efficient and clearly experienced. We were pleased they took the time to do the job thoroughly, test the levelling, run a rinse cycle to insure there were no leaks. They did have to install a new valve but they first tried to use an adapter to save us the cost, which we appreciated. (We were not surprised that new valve was needed since our old dishwasher lasted 38 years). They took care to clean up thoroughly afterwards as well. Designer Appliances runs a first rate operation...and we shared our experience with a number of friends. We were already return customers and our recollection of a first time positive experience was only reinforced by this latest experience. They are a definite 5 star operation."
