"Almonte appliance Happy with my refrigerator. A little hiccup in the first attempt. But it all worked out. My advice is Save your receipt. And if you have a problem call him up. But be chill. I don’t normally leave reviews but I wanted to make a difference. I always want to read an honest review. So here is mine . Mister Almonte is a business man. Rough around the edges but also is about leaving a good impression behind his business. Things happen. I almost lost my cool. But I was reminded of the saying you get more bees with honey. He remedied my little dilemma and replaced my refrigerator with in 24 hours. Who stays in business this long if he wasn’t an upright business man. I recommend his business. Just communicate properly. All I can say is that him, his wife and his children are lovely people and about servicing their community and I’m happy to go back and purchase again. Thank Mr & Mrs Almonte Alexandra"

"I purchased a used Frigidaire Dec 2022 and just 3 days after my warranty ran out it started not working. I called in a panic (I had over $1,000 worth of food in there) and was told someone would be at my house around 3pm. I called again at 4 and the owner said "sorry I forgot I'll come now". Their only about 20 minutes away, but it took him until after 6 to arrive. I had already given him serial number and pics of thermostat, etc so he could bring proper tools. He said it was coolant so when he was done and $85.00 later he told me that should do it. Well I went to bed around midnight and it still wasn't working and by this time all the food had dethawed and become ruined. I called him the next morning and told him it still wasn't working which he then said he had 1in the showroom freezer but he said it was larger. The one I bought was the largest we could fit. Anyway I went in to look at what he had and explained to his wife why I was there. The owner then came out with a grin and said so how are you. I stated "Well, I'm not a very happy right now" after I said that he became loud, rude and disrespectdul. He actually had the nerve to say I was being irratic, rude and disrespectful to him. I chuckled and he kept going on about my rudeness. He told me he couldn't do business with me anymore and that originally he was going to give me the money back for the freezer because he felt bad since the warranty had just expired. Then said but now because of my attitude he wasn't doing anything for me. I laughed in his face, called him a liar and told him I would make sure I told everybody I could about what type of person he was and what type of establishment he ran. With all this said, I just wish I would have done research on this place instead of just a word of mouth referral. I definitely would never return there and if you want to save time, Sanity and your money for a long term investment spend the extra money somewhere else."

"We went for a front load washer. Found a great bargain maytag washer. It has been a few months and running great. Now we need a dryer will definitely going back to shop here. Family run store Friendly. And helpful. I would recommend Almonte Appliances."

"I purchased my first refrigerator at a very reasonable price!! Very friendly and outgoing staff that goes out of their way to make females and others feel comfortable. Very informative experience, from measuring properly and other requirements for different appliances. Delivery guys were professional and efficient, in and out. Received a 1 year warranty on this fridge. Thanks for providing an amazing experience! Hoping for the best!"

"They are husband and wife team i believe. Very good service! I live an hour away and although shipping was a bit pricey it was a steal for what I'm getting. Whirlpool washer and dryer with 1 year warranty. They've got layaway but what was even better is that they've got a deal with Acima and it was a very simple process! The delivery fee, set up fee, and removal of my old appliances was a great deal and it's all included through Amica! If you set up for the 90 day same as cash it's great. But, the only draw back would be that if you miss one payment it rolls over to the 12 mon financing fee which is a bit pricey. Had i to do over I would've just made the extra payments just in case instead of signing up for the automatic withdrawal for the 90 days and kept it the 12 month just because anything could happen. You do need a checking account. Small deposit and then 2/3 days and delivered. Also, the great part is if you get say approval for say 1,800 (more or less) and you only use a portion of... You can transfer the remaining to another company that uses this company as well!! So not so bad ay. They were very informative and very considerate and kind. It was well worth the drive and they've loads to choose from! Mines are scratch and dent but can't even see the scratch. I'm very happy!"
