About the Business

The Good Shepherd Center Inc. is a multi-denominational ministry located at 10 North Water Street in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Established in 1991, the center is dedicated to serving the economically challenged individuals in the greater Greenville community. Regardless of creed, race, nationality, or lifestyle, the center shows concern for all who enter its doors. With the support of 24 board member congregations, the Good Shepherd Center offers a variety of services including a store, hot meal program, and food pantry. The store, Clothes & Treasures, is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM. The hot meal program serves dinner every Monday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and lunch every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The food pantry, located at 35 S. Water St., is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, with the last client served at 2:30 PM. The Good Shepherd Center is committed to providing for those in need and believes that with God's generosity, there will always be enough to share with others.

We had nothing the center has helped us get stuff for our apartment and the food bank kept us fed along with the center until we could get on our feet. Mary at the Center has been wonderful and so friendly. She made us feel at home even when we were living in our car."

"To whom it may concern: PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE! I WAS TOLD 5 MINUTES AGO ON JULY 1, 2019 THAT GOOD SHEPHERD DOES NOT PROVIDE GIFT CERTIFICATES WITH HELP FOR CLOTHING. I WAS TOLD THERE IS A $5 BAG SALE GOING ON...IM NOT SURE HOW THAT MATTERS WHEN I HAVE $ZERO DOLLARS AS I WAS OFF FROM WORK FOR A MEDICAL ISSUE FOR 6 WEEKS!! BUT THE WEBSITE DOES STATE THAT GIFT CERTIFICATES CAN BE ISSUED. Click on my name and you can view the screen shot from the good shepherd website."
