"My son has seen both Dr. Potash and Dr. Cohen for years, and they've been so supportive and helpful not just for him, but for our family as a whole. They are always available if a question or concern comes up, any time of day. During a potential emergency earlier this year, Dr. Cohen even reached out to me from her personal phone until things were resolved. The nurses are also quick to respond and clearly care about their patients. Highly recommend this practice for anyone dealing with mood disorders."

"I've been a patient of Dr Kohnen's for several years and she's great. Not only do I get competent medication management she listens to how things are going and each appointment is a bit of a therapy session so my treatment is comprehensive. She gives me ways of thinking about things not just meds. I can see how telepsych might not be the best modality for those with severe problems (I've seen in other reviews patients being referred elsewhere). I'm confident the office just wants what is safest for their patients. As a very busy person I like the convenience of zoom appointments and the patient portal for communication."

Laura, the nurse, was so patient and understanding; she really knows what she is doing and her integrity and genuine care make all of the difference. "I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient. I received a prompt call back; however, Laura, the nurse who spoke with me, was rude and unkind To me on the phone. She asked for all of my history and information which I have a hard time telling to a stranger, as I have severe things I am going through, and she was abrupt and had a rude tone through it all. At the end of the call, she advised “well we will go over your information with our team and call you back by the end of the week or early next week at latest to let you know whether we want to help you or not.”!!!!!! I am struggling badly with my mental health, I made this known, and they are accepting new patients—I never even got a call back. I called them trying to follow up, never returned my calls. If I could give them a 0 rating, I would. How terrible someone going through a horrible time and they leave you up in the air and speak to you that way and do not have the deceny to even call back and say either way that they can or cannot help you. Unreal. Heartless. These people need different careers—clearly no care or empathy for anyone."

"I was referred to this doctor by my therapist for possible medication. He is also an in network psychiatrist with my insurance. When I contacted the office to schedule an appointment, I was told they did not accept me as a patient because they were not "comfortable" treating me because of my history of serious depression which I experienced over 25 years ago. I was looking for medication for major depression and/or anxiety affecting so many other people. It occurred to me that if I was calling a new family doctor in my network, they would not say, you have too many medical issues, you will have to call someone else. I went away from this experience feeling defective and judged which I have experienced by so many people in the past. This gives me a lot of information about how I would have been treated by this particular doctor. They also did not offer me a referral to another psychiatrist"
