"Absolutely wonderful providers and staff. I have been attending sessions at this office for over 2 years, always kind and professional. Appreciate reminder calls and flexibility scheduling. The counselors are empathetic and very good at the work they do. I am a better person for coming here."

"I would give this a zero if I could. I saw a therapist at Preferred Care for a few years. After a year of no longer being a patient, I feel I was misled into certain treatments that were the opposite of helpful for my needs. I asked for other treatment modalities to deal with my actual emotions and behaviors but rather I was pushed to do more EMDR, misled that there are treatments within EMDR. False. It traumatized me worse. It brought forth years of repressed memories and I was given no coping strategies. After being removed from my counselors schedule for cancelations due to an extreme MEDICAL EMERGENCY, I decided to take a year off of therapy and realized I felt worse than ever about my trauma and myself. I finally found a new therapist and he was appaled by my experience at Preferred Care. Would highly recommend against choosing this facility for people with PTSD. I have experience with both Howland and Poland offices and would recommend NEITHER."

"Almost 4 weeks ago I was 22 minutes late for my appointment. The receptionist canceled the appointment I had called to let them know that I'd be about 15 minutes late. The reception is should have told me that if I was later than 15 minutes that they would cancel the appointment so she did not tell me that she let me. Show up and then told me She has to cancel it. I will never go back to this place ever again. The lack of communichin is unbelievable very very poor no. I get a bill in the mail for 30 appointment that they canceled on me. When my therapist be could have seen me looks like? I'm gonna be talking to the director or the assistant director and if I don't get anywhere from there. I guess this will be a legal matter."

"Refused to see my son after an apt we’ve waited almost 2 months for because I didn’t bring custody. I’ve had full custody since he was 6 months old, it’s in every file at every doctor, hospital, and school in this area-I should not need to carry around custody paperwork for 10 years-but if a woman brings her child here I bet 100% she would not need to show any papers to get her child an apt here"
