"So im a single dad and was trying to get a job to support my son and because of Corona I was supposed to get a year of child care paid for by the state paid for in full so they gave me three free months of child care to find a job and I finally found one paying $11 an hour my phone was off so its not like I could read my messages on my email every day I applied and got my year of free child care and I started working everything was great until about two months into working still no phone because I had no need for one I just worked and took care of my son that was until my case worker dropped my child care without me knowing aparantly they sent me an email asking about my hours and what days I worked and I didn't see it because I don't check my email that often I told the lady that multiple times even before they took it, so when i asked about it they said I had to reapply so I did and thats when they said even tho I was supposed to get free child care for ten more months now that my child care has been dropped and reopened now I have to pay a percentage of every day and the time I didn't know I wasn't covered because the daycare itself had to tell me they still won't cover so that piled up alot of debt that I can't afford while trying to build a life for myself I couldn't even afford a phone at that point so I lost my job and things have been going under ever since tbh the child care resource center is supposed to be a great thing to help families in tough times but the workers there even in a pandemic just don't care if your a dad which is really frustrating because no matter what gender you are its tough enough being a singe dad during a pandemic..."
