"Terrible experience with Erie Insurance, especially with Stephen Barr and his manager Nicholas. I'm fighting with them now on a dimminished value claim. At first they told me they didn't have to pay it, which I knew was a lie. Now they make me an offer of about 1.6% of what my vehicle is worth prior to the accident. It's an industry standard that they should pay about 10% because when I go to trade in my vehicle, that's a realistic dimminished value amount. It could actually be higher than that depending on the vehicle. I'm going to have to go get an appraisal done by an outside appraiser and take them to small claims court to get this situation handled. All because they don't want to pay something that they are required to pay. First they told me there wasn't a dimminished value claim to be had because my vehicle was in a prior accident. I told them they needed to show me the documents backing that up, and what my vehicle value was prior to the accident. They didn't produce any of that paperwork. So after establishing that my vehicle had a full market value on it, they just decided to lowball the diminished value. Their dimminished value report has zero market consideration in it. It's just a number generated by a system with the goal of taking advantage of people. I would never intentionally do business with them. But I will happily fight them in court because I know they're wrong. Small claims court will side with me because their report has zero evidence in it suggesting its anything except a number they pulled out of thin air to try to lowball the situation. A good appraisal has 9 or 10 pages worth or report that includes examples of local market values that demonstrate what the vehicle is worth prior to an accident, and what it is worth after. Mine will have that information. I'll see you in small claims court"

"I filed an accident report about a month ago. Four days later, I was contacted and informed about the accident, I gave all the information and photos. their own measurement workers came and took pictures of my car. Since I am not their customer, they received information from me very quickly, but then they do not even bother their customers because the name of the person holding the accident report is HEATHET MAZUR, one day the system does not work, one day they can not reach their customers, another day they are not in the office. if I hit their costumer then they will call me everyday but when their costumer hit someone then they don’t care . PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.. especially.."

"One of there customers rear ended me. Totalling my car, they were very prompt and professional. Upon confirmation of everthing, it only took 18hrs for the funds to arrive and by the time id gotten back from dropping of the title and going put to lunch the tow truck was on site to pick up. Everything was timed perfectly"
