Full Moon

"Weeks in advance I contacted the restuarant by email to see if they were serving dinner on 1/25 (full moon - my birthday ) and if they provided a menu. I received no reply. I still looked forward to going there for lunch on the 26th. After driving over one hour it was a miserable experience. The waitress couldn't manage to put a smile on her face or even make eye contact when we thanked her for the coffee or food. We were in a great mood and that changed rapidly. Other patrons came in and she spent time at their tables ( obviously locals ) chatting and laughing but didn't even bother to ask us if we'd like a refill on our coffees. Never came by once after serving us. The place wasn't even crowded. The food isnt so great it can compensate for lousy, rude service. I always thought Blue Moon was a great little place. Never again. I'll walk across the bridge and have a nicer experience."

"Coffee is strong, a table was available when we arrived 9a Sun, and waitress was friendly so we're off to a good start. I ordered San Fran Benedict. Benedict sauce was thin like water and tasted like pure butter (hollandaise is supposed to be butter, egg, lemon juice so it is a mild flavor and not thickened w flour). Egg was gently coddled and nicely runny. The sauce allowed the Benedict to have the egg flavor shine through predominantly. The onion component was grilled. Husband ordered Corned Beef Hash w/over easy eggs. The potatoes in the hash were sliced thin like potato chips & were soft. He would have preferred a chunky presentation for the potatoes. The portion size was good. The hash was swimming in butter so the butter can definitely be reduced. Tables were not that tight together, they're fine. It was an ok meal."

"It's very tight in this restaurant. The waitress hardly stops by your table when they're busy and you're constantly getting bumped every time someone walks by. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was sub par (very little flavor and watery). My husband's was completely inedible as the onions in the hash browns were still raw. Not the best breakfast experience."

"Adorable spot for breakfast and lunch in Lambertville. The dining room has a soaring ceiling, making the smaller space feel less crowded. It was a busy Sunday breakfast, and most tables were full or turned over quickly. The host and servers were warm, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the Country Benedict which was served hot and delicious. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Check out the video in this review of the creamy sexy yolks when I broke them open. My partner had the Savoryard Omlet, which was nicely prepared and loaded with ingredients. We also shared a bowl of the soup of the day. A creamy Pesto soup, which was delightful on cold autumn morning."

"Stopped in for lunch with mom and aunt. We had the soup of the day corn and tomato soup, blt with avocado, and the cheese steak sandwich. Cute place, good service and the food was good. The cheese steak could have had a little more flavor but still good. Would go back. Prices were fair."
