"Tucked away in a little strip mall off Leesburg Pike, Lantern House is one of Falls Church's finest hidden gems! Everything and I mean everything we tried here was delicious. The dishes were so flavorful and tasty. The people working there were helpful, and nice. Overall, you can bet on seeing me back here soon. This place is a hidden treasure for authentic Vietnamese food, and I can't wait to explore more of their menu!"

"I took some of my kids here while they were visiting. Great food and great service. It's in a non-descript strip mall type building but there's adequate parking and the food is great so worth going to. The setting is very casual and relaxing; not set up for fancy meals. We've gone a few times now and have never been disappointed. This last trip included several types of pho (mmmm), grilled pork bahn mi, spiocy ginger chicken, vietnamese omelette, and grilled pork summer rolls for appetizers. All were delish. This is an out-of-the-way place with great food. My wife, son, and I tried this because another restaurant was packed. We ended up loving the food and glad we tried it. It’s a very casual, cafe style restaurant but I’m about the food. Free parking is available which is a nice perk. I had a delicious sizzling clay pot with beef. My wife had the Vietnamese crepe, which was huge and I didn’t think she could finish. And son the grilled lemongrass pork chop. All prefaced by delicious fresh spring rolls."

"I don’t write online reviews, but this place is the BEST!!! Amazing food, kind folks/owners, and a cozy interior that is very welcoming and comfortable. Without a doubt, our favorite restaurant in the area, by a COUNTRY mile. The crispy rolls are in a league of their own and the clay pot chicken is out of this world as well. The chicken fried rice is also among my favorites… it’s a generous portion and it’s no where near as unhealthy as most fried rice dishes. KEEP IT UP LANTERN HOUSE!"

"The pork banh mi is unmissable! Sweet, spicy, lemongrass pork with pickled veggies. One serving is good enough for two people with a moderate appetite. The bread was crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The jalapeño gives the banh mi a spicy kick, so if you prefer it to be mild, let the team know."
