"My 1st time at this venue - seeing my favorite band Low Cut Connie. I think the venue is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. My major complaint is the sound. I was standing Center, a bit back from the stage, and the sound should have been perfect there. But all I could hear was Bass. Nothing but Bass. Whoever was doing the sound mixing did a terrible job. I don't know if this happens all the time at this venue, or this was an isolated incident. But seeing your favorite band you expect the sound to be at least good. So that's my review."

"We went for WXPN (radio station) "Funky Friday" afternoon dance party. Doors opened promptly at start (4:00PM), not a minute sooner. Once inside, we were happy to find a COAT CHECK ($3.00). WXPN was having a raffle so we scored a T-shirt. Then we hurried upstairs to claim some front row seats overlooking dance floor. Once DJ started we saw a dozen or so dancers get going right away. We got some drinks and waited for them and the music to take effect. Acoustics were very good. Upper level bar wasn’t busy. By 5:00 place was pleasantly crowded without a mob. Main level bars were busy, but still accessible. People seemed very civilized and “experienced”. Food was ordered at the bar and showed up at table in about fifteen minutes. A Cuban sandwich and order of fries ordered at bar showed up at table a were fine for both of us as long as you have realistic expectations. Bathrooms were found and were clean and neat. By 6:00 we were satisfied, so we beat the rush. We had parked a block away, which would have been OK except for the rain - can’t blame the venue for that. There is plenty of parking scattered around town. We would go back for a live performance when right performer is there."

"I've been to this venue since it was Brownie's and they recently renovated it, its a nice small venue with the option for food. You can even purchase tickets for a little more to access second level balcony for a more private experience. The green rooms for the bands are reasonably sized. Staff is very pleasant and the parking lot across the street is a nice touch for public parking."

I was surprised some of my favourites were playing here, but was SO pleased to have the intimate experience Ardmore offers. the bartenders and waitstaff were fantastic, the ladies' restroom was VERY well equipped (!!) and parking was a breeze. perfect way to spend my Friday the 13th."

The food is better than most bar fare, offering something for everyone with moderate prices. Any place you hang in the Ardmore you can clearly see the band."
