"When I got engaged I knew I was going to Evaline's for my dress. This store has survived the tests of time and economy and was hopeful they would have something for me. During my initial visit I was disappointed with my experience with the store and Beth. Beth and I had been texting back and forth styles that I had in mind, thinking she would have some things picked for me before I arrived. When I got there nothing had been picked out, but I had continually been asked to send ideas of what I wanted. I will admit I am a curvy bride and a lot of the sample sizes (and the industry in general) don't cater to being a gurl with hips. It was a challenge for me to get into some of the dresses, even being told to pull in my butt to see if we could get some of the dresses on. It was disheartening when some I liked wouldn't even go over my head. When I saw a dress on the rack completely different than what I wanted I knew I needed to try it on.. it was my dress! After purchasing my dress and veil (stunner) my experience with the shop was a lot better I was excited for my fitting appointments. The women really took the time to make sure I felt comfortable in my dress and even added skirts under it to give her a little more oomph. At my second to last fitting we made sure everything fit right and wasn't too tight where I wasn't going to be able to sit down. My mom came with me to my final fitting appointment where she was taught how to bustle my dress and then Brooke told her to do it on her own just to make sure she had it. She even made a cute cheat sheet for my mom to have on the wedding day. I was even more impressed when I found out they do dry cleaning and preservation of my dress so I didn't have to go far to get it cleaned! I would definitely shop here again, but if you are curvy just know some dresses might not fit you"
