"The place is not too large, not too small, just very cozy. The food is very nice, especially the Beijing roast duck,They have their own oven to cook the duck, It is very authentic, Our layers is very crisp and inside is juicy and the Beijing roast duck sauce is also very authentic. Probably a little bit oily for the people who are not very familiar with Chinese food. But I can say that it is exactly what I had in Beijing. It tastes like home. The price is a bit high, but it totally worth it. you need to make reservations for the roast duck."

"Overall subpar quality. Signature fish head dish lags flavor other than salt and soy. And it doesn’t even have tofu under the fish . Also diced chicken with chili and pepper could have used dark meat instead of the dry and flavorless chicken breast meat."

"Recommend : whole fish, pumpkin cookies, century egg and eggplant, beef and tripe with chili (Fu ji fei pian) Good: clear noodle (liang fen), chicken with chili sauce(koi shui kji), green beans Ok: eggplant in garlic sauce, fried shrimp in salted egg yolk, kung pao chicken Nothing is bad but I probably wouldn't get the eggplant in garlic sauce again since it is ok but the other food here is so good that it's not worth the opportunity cost. The century egg and eggplant was definitely a stand out. I was surprised how nicely they went together. Would be a great subtle introduction to century egg in my opinion. Pumpkin cookies aren't really cookies, they're like gooey rice cake with filling (similar to mochi but in my opinion better). I have to recommend them since I expect to order it every time I come Clear noodles (liang fen) are near and dear to me. Excited to know a place I can get it but I would have preferred it with substantially more cilantro (something I plan to remedy at home on our next take out order)"

"Wonderful experience! We got the V3 eggplant with garlic sauce, X7 scallion pancakes, H5 braised pork in Mao's style, H15 home styled sauteed pork, and H14 sauteed frog. The home styled sauteed pork and sauteed frog were quite spicy so don't be afraid to ask for more rice. Amazing food and service!"
