"I asked what was on the Cuban sandwich, I didn’t actually order it. They put the order in but never gave me a choice of bread and being it was rye I cannot eat seeds as I have an allergy to them. So I had to pick each seed out. They should have asked if I wanted it on a roll, etc. Or better yet tell me what it was on so I would know if it had seeds. Just don’t say “Cuban sandwich” and no description. Even one of the girls didn’t know what was on it. I also got a few smiley face cookies. They were not good. Very dry and zero taste. The older women there were SO rude and short tempered. Didn’t smile whatsoever. Everyone looked miserable. They should be thankful people are giving them business. In fact my friend had raved about how great it is. I’d like to know how long ago that was because one of the older ladies looked as if she had never smiled or enjoyed life at all. This was my first and last time going there. I hear such “great” reviews but the service was horrible. They acted as if you are inconveniencing them."

"I have no good things to say here. It’s actually shocking how bad it was. The general non friendliness/ hostility there aside, I got a plain roast beef sandwich on rye and a rum ball. As a deli you’d really have to try hard to screw that up. The bread was so dry as to be crunchy and the roast beef was equally as dry and difficult to swallow. I ate half and am throwing the rest away out of concern of food safety issues. Why not get fresh food for your establishment? The rum ball is just pure sugar and cheap chocolate. The kicker - the absolute mind blowing kicker is that a small inedible sandwich and one - ONE rum ball cost me $15.00 FIFTEEN DOLLARS?! Are you kidding? Every other deli in the area has decent sandwiches for $7. This was not worth that - So is a rum ball $8?! EIGHT DOLLARS?! I need answers here. How do people get away with this? As a final note - no bags? Why should people fumble with dry sandwiches, an $8 rum ball and orange coleslaw while finding their car keys. I’m not asking for the world here, just to get edible food and a bag. This was shamefully bad."

"My son LOVES the rum balls here! However, the eclairs and cannolis are my favorites. Great place to pick up some tasty treats."

"Although it's a half-hour drive from home, we make the pilgrimage with some regularity. While they are a very good deli, we go there for their bakery offerings. Whenever we bring Yelliw Cottage cakes ir pastries to a gathering of family or friends, they're always met with a similar question: These are incredible; Where did you get them? We brought their signature Brown Derby cake to a friend's house this past weekend, and it was incredible!"

"The BEST pastries around! Always well worth the drive! Definitely recommend the Napoleans, Chocolate Eclairs, Canolis, and bakery cookies. They have many other items to offer (not just desserts!) too including made-to-order sandwiches, pasta salads, and more! You're missing out if you don't stop here!"
