R & M Small Engine Repair

"I recently had R & M pick up my John Deere riding Mower for repair after hitting a big tree stump hard. They assessed the damage and situation and called to go over the diagnosis and made some suggestions to save me money. They made the repairs, did some regular maintenance, cleaned it up like brand new, filled the gas tank and returned it to me in a couple of days. This was sooner than they originally promised and they could not have been any nicer. I think they are great. Thank you Ray! It wasn't cheap, but I know it was cheaper than other places. And, I learned my lesson, not to hit any stumps in the future."

"People complaining about customer service must have been extremely rude. The woman at the front desk was nothing but a peach to talk too. saved me $50 on a complete transmission rebuild along with a tune up. Would recommend to anyone"

"Every other review is accurate. They are not exaggerating or being overly harsh. This was by far one the worst customer service experiences of my life. When I dropped my lawn mower off the woman could not have been more rude and I immediately regretted leaving it there. A week later I called to check on the status and I was berated that I was told it would take at least 3 weeks (I was actually told 2 weeks) and that nothing had been done to my lawnmower. So about an hour or so later I called back just to say never mind I would pick up my lawnmower and be on my way. The woman refused to release my lawnmower and the owner was yelling in the background "If you keeping f&@!$ calling back I will add $10 to your bill." Do not do business with this place big mistake!!!"

"Do NOT do business with this company! The woman on the phone is one of the most hateful and rude people I have even dealt with (and I am pretty darned nice and respectful) on the phone. I called 1 week after a lawnmower had been dropped off for service to follow up, was told that she informed my husband that it would be at least 3 weeks (which was a complete lie). I told her I want the unit back and she refused, and then hung up on me. AVOID THIS COMPANY"

"Do not do business here. My wife dropped a weed eater off for the tune up special. Was told 3 to 5 days. Day 9 I call. Counter girl denied having the weed eater. After I told her they hard charged me $40.00 she found the weed eater. Proceeded to tell me they haven't looked at it. It would be 2 weeks. Also claimed my wife said it wouldn't run. The woman is rude hateful. She told me she would speak with the owner. I decided to get my weed eater even though it had not been serviced. The woman told me the owner and her decided to keep the $40.00. He would not speak to me. Horrible business ethics here. They will take your $40.00 and change the paperwork on you. Read the other reviews. The horrible wrench comment is right on!"
