"valenti has fixed my boots half a dozen times. twice for free. once I was on my way to leave town for a concert with friends and the heel came off. I took em in to valenti’s and said, “can you do anything?” he sanded off the old adhesive and dirt and fixed them with fast drying epoxy in 15 min. he told me it was “free because it wasn’t a permanent fix, and to bring them in when that came off.” that repair lasted over a year and a half. another time, I had brought them in to be resoled. it was probably about 2 years later that one sole started to become partially detached, and I brought them in and he fixed that for free because “that shouldn’t have happened.” when valenti does let me pay him, it costs like ten bucks. honestly, I don’t know how he stays in business. this business is very important to me because there are a lot of sentimental value in my boots. also, I don’t actually know if the guy behind the counter is named valenti, but to me, he will always be valenti. legendary business owner, legendary business, 6/5 stars"
