Doug's Towing

"Needed a jack up for swapping my flat tire with my spare. Called at 5:20, dispatch said they could be there in a half hour. Called at 6:29, dispatch said they would be there any minute. 6:45 driver calls and says hes on the way and 20 minutes out. Driver arrives 7:05. If you use these guys, do not believe any time dispatch says. If dispatch wasnt lying, then driver saw more profitable trespass tows on the way to get me. Either way, very unprofessional. I should have cancelled after 1 hour and gone with one of the better rated guys. Tire swap was $125 which seems normal to me. They DID come and get it done at least, but it sucks waiting 2 hours in sub zero temps thinking your truck will be there "any minute"."

"Zero stars. My opinion is that they are criminals. They towed my daughter’s vehicle that was legally parked on campus to their lot which is only 1 mile away. then they charged us almost $300 to get it back. Complete scam. They are predators. This is common practice for them. Read the BBB complaints on them."

"Had to get my son‘s car towed to a mechanic. used my insurance who contracted with Doug’s towing . The tow driver was extremely inappropriate with my son, seemingly irritated by the situation. Used numerous expletives , and was very rude to my son for no reason. He seems very put out that he had to tow my son‘s car. Just completely unnecessary behavior. Super disappointed and do not recommend"

"Our daughters car was towed and she was told it would be 260.84 cash only. We called to find out why it is cash only and the lady became defensive and very rude. All she said is because it’s a third party and we ask what exactly that means and could not explain that. Sounds strange to me! If we ever need a tow we will definitely NOT be using this company. Terrible!!"

"I'm from Pennsylvania and was traveling back from Ohio with my wife and service dog. I had a blowout and my insurance company dispatched Doug's. After over 2 hours they were a no show and wouldn't answer my calls or my insurance company's calls. My insurance company then called Mike's towing. Their driver John called me within 2 minutes and was at my location in 20 minutes. He not only towed my vehicle to Sam's club (which was now closed because Doug's never showed) for new tires, but also dropped us (me, wife AND service dog) off at the hotel we had to stay at BECAUSE DOUG'S NEVER SHOWED! He wouldn't even take a tip. If you need a tow, don't waste your time with Doug's. Call Mike's towing instead."
