"I took my 9.9 Mercury to him for a new prop seal. He had it done in three days and his fee was very reasonable. I would highly recommend his services."

"Bought an old Alumacraft on Facebook, my very first boat. It came with a Mercury outboard with a prop off the shaft, and no way of putting it back on. Motor ran fine, gears worked, but the prop situation was messed up. Took it to Uncle Bob - long time boater - who after looking it over, told me just to take it to Frank, The Outboard Guy. It was the weekend so I left a message. Monday Frank called me back, and we set up for me to drop it off so he'd be able to take a look. Finding his shop on Short Street was a little tricky: the map app did not do a good job. Frank's shop opens to his garage door, but the front of the house is on another street. Frank got it fixed and good to go quickly. He was knowledgeable and thorough on his repair. He gave me all the old pieces he took off. He charged a very reasonable price. I'll come back for all my future needs."

"I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. I took my boat here for a rebuild over the winter. My local shop told me I needed a power head to fix it. I did a little research online and the outboard guy. I'm so glad I did because my boat it back in business. I've had it out 4 times now and it starts so easy and runs great. He charged a very fair price, is an extremely nice guy and is a surgeon with an outboard. His shop is about 2 hours away from me but for someone with his expertise it is well worth the drive. My wife and I made the drive on a Wednesday. We arrived around 11 and unhooked the boat after talking with Frank for a bit. We went down the road to the original roadhouse for lunch (which was fantastic also). When we got back he had it mounted back on the boat and running. A real professional! Thanks Frank!"

"This man is honest, reliable and true to his word. I brought him an old outboard that needed a water pump that was no longer being produced. Frank found one on line, ordered it and had my boat up and running by the following weekend as he promised and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation and give him 6 stars if I could."
