"I have 2 sons that go to Dr manzoor ages 10 and 12 who doesn't like when I bring my younger children to the appointment and just recieved a call today from his receptionist asking me to bring someone with me to watch them for the 5 minutes he sees us. I'm a single mom and they are supposed to be a child psychiatrist but they don't have patience for kids to be there."

"I have had the same psychiatrist for (10+ years) at this facility behind Harley Davidson in Gettysburg, and he has been there for me every step of my diagnosis since it's inception. I have never been more confident in his resolve to help me achieve as normal of a life as I can with what knowledge he has and what I can provide. He is a doctor that you can tell became a doctor because he has a talent and is by no means in it for the money or prestige like some stereotypes. I consider him a friend as well as a confidant that I can trust has the best intentions for me, my mental health and my relationships. I have had trouble finding the right fit for a therapist at this facility and others until recently, but I would recommend to not be discouraged because many have different approaches that they take with patients, but I feel that I might have just recently found a right fit for me after many attempts in different places. The staff has been so professional that I can't think of a specific time when it was mishandled. Anywho, I recommend it but if it is not right for you, please don't get discouraged to reach out or ask for recommendation all over the place. For instance, if there are no therapists available in your county for a year, I was able to video chat with therapists from another county that had almost immediate openings with just a few calls. "I've been discharged as a patient for missing appointments or rescheduling Nevermind the need for the highest dose of effector that Dr shah prescribed me Gotta wait 6 months to maybe be seen again I won't be going back in 6 months to that joke of a doctor. And if you are pro medical Marijuana don't even think of bringing it up to Shah. He will insult you and tell you "you're a mother you don't need that stuff. It will make you a bad mom." Many of my friends and relatives have also had negative experiences with this office. Johar Shah's appointments go as follows How are you doing? Okay How are the medications working? Okay How about we increase you again 25mg and check back in 3 months Okay *maxed out on effexor at 24 years old*"

"Very rude people. They won't give you any information. I simply asked for paperwork and they said they wouldn't talk to me until my stepson's mother called them. I said that's fine, I can get her to call, can they send the paperwork. She simply said have the mother call. I said I will, can you please send paperwork. Rather than answer me, the rude person just kept saying have the mother call, have the mother call. She refused to answer any questions. No wonder they have such a poor rating here!"

"I have tried twice to make appointments here , once about a year ago and once just recently. Both times I have been told there is a 4-6 month waiting list. I'm sorry, but don't promote your services on your voice recording, patient portal, or offer them to other primary care practitioners as a referral source when clearly you cannot handle the "need in the community". You are then in fact NOT supporting the communities "mental health needs"!! Who would ever defer a patient seeking treatment to wait 6 months? It is a disservice to the mental health community and the already surrounding stigma of seeking help. How many people have you turned away who then NEVER GOT THE HELP THEY NEEDED!?!?!? As all Wellspan patient family including PCPs, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrician etc, I am probably going to seek a system elsewhere who can in fact handle all of the needs of my family, especially if they were to market as such!!!"
