Fairfax Apartments

"Do not move here under any circumstances. Elevators and the gym (both treadmills are out of service) are out of service for months and months and no one cares! Your emails will get ignored as I had sent emails about the treadmills months ago, no one replied and of course they didn’t get fixed as well. However we are still charged for it every month. Do yourself a favour and don’t move here."

"Manager and assistant manager are 10/10, great people. Maintenance staff is nice too. Now, the owners DO NOT CARE AT ALL about this property and the tenants. One of the elevators has been broken for several MONTHS and nobody has fixed it. Then, 2 weeks ago, the other elevator broke, I bet it won't be fixed anytime soon. All the tenants need to wait for the only elevator working, which is the FREIGHT elevator. Bear in mind this is a 9 floor building with around 15 apartments per floor, so do your math. Rent is high and keeps going up, and this is an old building, so no central AC/heating and other things you would find in newer buildings. Packages get lost all the time, and random people get in the building and steal packages. This has been going on for years, read older reviews and you'll see. I can't wait for my lease to end to get out of this place. I don't advise anyone to come live here if they can find anything else in the area. Really, turn around, it's a trap, an expensive one."

"I met Kelee a decade back and rented an apt at Fairfax and again came back to UPenn. Though this time around the apartment building was getting a face lift and too much happening yet I got the best apartment by the support of Kelee. I was happy to meet Kelee, who has been managing Fairfax so amazingly well despite the fact that she is perpetually running around attending to a lot. Yet, when you find her in that 'a bit quiet space', she makes genuine efforts to support. I always had a great experience with Kelee in finding the best apartments."

"I’ve been living at Fairfax for about 4 months now, the staff members really work with you and make an effort to help; Raquel and Kelee have work with me to make my move in and stay smooth, they are easy to communicate with and are usually quick to respond. The maintenance personnel are also friendly and hardworking; Robin helped fix my kitchen’s electrical issue and did an efficient job. Overall the other residents are nice, even though the building has an older look, the renovated spaces and apartments look really nice."

"I am a UPenn student. Wonderful apartment building. Miss Kelee and Raquel make you feel like part of the family. They are always there to support you and help you out with anything. Units are recently renovated and look so upscale. Amenities are amazing. 10/10 recommend living here!"
