"Stay away from this building as long as it’s under Rushmore Management. My life was quite literally sabotaged the day I signed a lease here. My tenancy here was the absolute worst, most horrific living situation I’ve ever been in from the day I moved in. The building managers and maintenance do what they can but it’s not enough because corporate is too cheap to actually let things be fixed. Let’s go down the list - absolutely filthy unit upon move in. I got mold poisoning from contaminated A\C units and was sick for weeks. Furthermore, because the electrical outlets were not wired properly, there was not enough power to supply the air conditioning and had NO COOLING for the hottest months of the year - July thru September. My apartment easily reached 85+ degrees on a good day and They refused to call an electrician for months because they didn’t think there was an issue until I BEGGED. I had zero running water for several days due to a “maintenance issue” that they dragged their feet with. Literally not a DROP of water and they gave no warning. their drainage and plumbing systems were never in working order and it took them months to call a plumber in to fix my bathroom that was completely unusable. The building has several violations open with the city including not meeting fire code. Lastly - not even 2 months into my lease I got a mice infestation that they said they couldn’t help with because they didn’t have a credit card to book an exterminator with. As an extremely clean and tidy person, I’ve never once had mice or any pest issues in my years of renting - and they came from several holes in the walls of my unit that they neglected to fill before I moved in. I begged and pleaded for help (as pest control was their responsibility in the lease) and nothing was done. I was forced to self vacate as I felt it was the only choice I had as I couldn’t manage all these issues all in my own. They will force you to live in the depths of h*ll because they make too much money renting out UNINHABITABLE apartments and refuse to fix the basics. Stay away no matter what. They set up their community and maintenance managers up for complete failure - an embarrassing excuse for a business."

"This place definitely needs a lot of work related to maintenance. However, the staff does all they can, and will provide you all the help they cam. Especially Eduvige, shes really helpful and actually cares about the tenants!!!"

"This building is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs. Elevators break down a few times every week. Key fob system goes down all the time. Hot water randomly disappears and takes up to a week to come back on. Pipes burst flooding the basement and cutting off water to the entire building. Cleaning is very sporadic and floors in elevator and lobby are often sticky. Garbage disposal is cumbersome and they dont allow us to use the back entrance, make us go through the gross basement (shared with a restaurant) to throw away trash. This is just the start of it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!"

"Called in advance to schedule a showing for several studio apartments in the building … when I arrived (early I might add) no one was at the front agent or leasing office to let me in. By the time the showings were supposed to roll around the building was still empty of employees at the front desk and leasing office. I waited 20 minutes and called several times, no response. This does not give me confidence in the building having quality property management."

"Just ended a year's lease in a studio apartment here. My wife and I were looking for something that will have amenities (In building washing machine+dryers & gym) without a super high price and were looking through 9 other places at that time. We chose to sign a lease here due to the well planned space of the studio (and storage) and because it was on the 8th floor facing the south - giving great sunlight and view of Phili. I've had a great experience right from the start. In the day I moved I requested to change the oven and have some fixes (paint & holes fill) made in the bathroom I have not noticed before when I checked the apartment previously - the oven was changed and all the fixes were made the following day. It was easy to reach out and get the window unit (the portable air conditioner) installed and uninstalled, change lights and in the two times I had problems with the heating there always was someone there to take a look the next morning. Even though a studio is small we made it work for us and were able to have guests and family over (staying to sleep on air mattress) and we had a great place that felt very much like home Was really surprised from the low ratings here, guess everyone has their own personal story.."
