The Metropolitan Doylestown

"I like living at the Metropolitan Apts. I downsized from a 2-story, 3-bedroom house at my daughters' urgings and was concerned apt. living might be a bit noisy. It is actually quiet here, which was a pleasant surprise. The neighbors are friendly. There are elevators in the 3-story buildings.The location is ideal for me. I can walk to McCaffrey's for groceries. It is close to schools, churches, doctors, hospital, library, senior center, and the Y. The Doylestown Dart stops at the front of my building which is convenient if unable to drive. Maintenance is superb. Response is fast and efficient. The property manager is very knowledgeable. The downside is the unexpected, substantial, yearly rent increases, mandatory storage fee, combined now with the responsibility for all utility charges (water, trash, sewer), additional charges to use pool and/or fitness center, and "convenience fees" which have become challenging for many residents. When I moved in there was one building in the complex that had a no-dogs policy. Dogs are now permitted. Some apts. have patios or balconies. Doylestown is a lovely town."

"I've just passed my first anniversary at The Metropolitan Doylestown, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to move here. The buildings are very well maintained, including frequent vacuuming and shampooing of hallway carpets. The couple of times I've needed maintenance, my request has been responded to immediately, and the repairs done efficiently and cheerfully. Stella Bernik, the property manager, is efficient, intelligent, and a delight to deal with."

"The residents are kind, helpful, sweet and joyful to be around. The staff responses quickly when we need their help. They are very knowledgeable. Rosie and I are very happy. I gave a 4 rather than 5 because some of the kitchen and bathroom utilities could be better quality."

I am SO VERY PLEASED AND THANKFUL for Stella's kindness and patience with my mom.....she has been nothing but sweet, helpful and just a great person to work with. Give that girl a raise! Thank you so much Stella for making the transition of moving a pleasant and EASY experience for my mom. I love this place.....I don't think I will ever move! I have lived at the Metropolitan for almost three years now and absolutely love it. My parents are moving back into the area and we met with Stella today, the property manager, to look at available apartments. Stella could not have been more patient with myself and my mother, who is partially disabled. She was very informative, friendly and just an all around wonderful person to work with. They found an apartment they love and will be moving in November 2020. Thank you Stella! You are wonderful!"

"I just recently moved in, and the property manager of the Doylestown Metropolitan, Stella Bernik, could not have been more helpful, patient, thorough and personable. She answered my questions even before I asked them. I was impressed with the building operation and with her highly developed administrator's skills. I saw one of the reviews posted that was negative and I am wondering if the reviewer was in the same apartment complex. . . The location is great, two of the three buildings allow dogs, the DART Bus stops in front of the buildings regularly and the buildings have a great mix of people."
