"I lived in these apartments back in the 2000 when Dida DeSimone was the property manager and they were pretty Decent except for a few loud neighbors.I was apt# 10D off evergreen ave near the light. after i moved out it seemed like the neighbor from hell moved in. Driving bye and just seeing the condition of my old apartment windows told a story of its own. I have friends who still live here in current time 2023-2024 and to go visit the apartments now i can say they have taken serious decline. when i lived there they had house keeper that would come and keep the hallways vacuumed and freshen up, the hallaways smell now and are dirty. The railings in the hallways need upgrading and painting, New carpets and padding is needed as well in the hallways and thee apartments. many apartments have mold and cracks in the ceilings and walls. but for the most part tenants have done their part maintaining what they can. Often times its hard to get maintenance to do repairs and your lied too. To all tenants know your rights under fair housing laws and exercise your rights to safe decent housing. Put all maintenance request in writing and keep a copy. if you and other tenants are have serious apartment issues that are not being addressed. draw up a petition contact DCA housing inspectors in Trenton. they will inspect and force your landlord to make repairs. all affordable and low income housing receive funding to keep their complex livable. No one can force you out because you make a complaint. As far as being treated with disrespect from management you have rights and are covered under the law exercise your rights for fair Treatment.... Hope this helps someone. "DO NOT MOVE HERE. FAIR WARNING! If I could give a 0 I would. This apartment has to be one of the worst in south Jersey. This is an income based apartment and the management team changes your rent without notice frequently. One min you’re paying $90 in rent then the next $1000 imagine that without notice! And mind you on the HUD fact sheet it states their responsibility is to notify tenants of change. Favoritism is a thing here. If you are on a waiting list just know they fill these apartments with their family, friends etc before they go down the list. I cannot tell you how many times I had to go to the office to correct their mistakes. Ended up being audited (when HUD fine combs through all your bank statements) because of all of their mistakes with my paperwork. So many tenants talk to each other about it so trust me it’s an issue. Management team is beyond incompetent (I don’t know how they are able to work here). They are rude and are so backed up in the office that it’s insane. If you do move here I suggest having everything communicated in email because I almost had to pay a fine with HUD but because I had proof of their mistake I was cleared. They lose your documents and blame you. Be aware these people could get tenants in huge trouble. They have a manager who oversees them her name is Chanese. She is malicious and condescending and does not care about messing you up when it comes to your rent and issues with HUD. She speaks badly on tenants (heard it myself). I don’t even know how she got a promotion she’s done so many illegal things and puts the blame on the girls in the office (Johanna specifically, they fired her but she was trying to fix all Chanese’s mistakes). Needs to be investigated for real. Maintenance does what they want to. There’s an app we use to report issues and they mark things completed even though it has not been checked out. My ceiling was cracking for months now, paint chipping ridiculously, refrigerator has been broken (it leaks a lot and makes the worst noise) since I moved in here (they refuse to replace it). They do inspections every few months for what, I don’t know. I guess to “document” they inspected but trust me they do nothing. Please be careful moving here."

"I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone!!!! The girls in the office don’t know what they are doing they are rude maintenance don’t fix anything right or don’t come and fix Anything at all then when they have inspections they wanna put all the blame on the tenants for them not doing their jobs….roaches are bad they all in the hallways and they won’t do anything about it"

"I have been here for a while now and the new managemaent is not it iv'e been complaining about bedbugs for two months now i have a 9 year old and a new born and iv'e called exterminator came but all he did was take pictures and i asked what was they gonna do he said maybe the heat treatment and this was last month and its july now how long do i have to wait poor maintenance they dont do what they suppose to do iv'e never experience this in my life.they better do something or im calling the news and the health department because this is getting out of hand."

"Maintenance is the worse and the people in the office work when ever they feel like it. I had a leak in my bathroom coming from the top apartment for 3WEEKS. The sealing was ripping down and the sides. The 1st day of the leak i called the office and they said "we will tell maintenance" (Thursday). 2nd day of the leak i called them again because no one showed up and the office told me "maintenance is doing something they are not going to be able to assist today (Friday)". 3rd day i call after hours because the office was closed and finally got a hold of maintenance they came checked it out and said "we will work on it Monday" (not trying to work on a weekend) not to mention they never stoped the leak(Saturday). Monday came and it was still leaking. I emailed the office several times and sent them pictures because they would not answer my calls. The only reply i would get on the email was "ill let maintenance know". I had to call again on a weekend. When maintenance came i told them off and i gues thats when they felt they had to actually do something since im always nice. Nothing was done about this until 3weeks later. I just received a call from the office today asking if the leak was fixed AFTER 3WEEKS OF HELL. Things here are just getting worse."
