"I was in urgent need of a waterheater. I was given a quote from other companies for 3 xs the amount Francis charged me. He was even able to find a huge saving on certain pieces needed to complete the job. While at my home he noticed other areas that needed improvement. I Have booked him for other jobs around the house...he is God sent..I highly recommend his services."

"I think you should remove humble from your business name. Not professional, not on time, poor quality, poor value. A similar word for humble also means respectful. My best friend contracted this company for a sheetrock job and he did a horrible job. He used an electric sander which created a lot of dust in the house when he should have used the sand blocks which was purchased. In all my life I have never seen a sander used on sheetrock. He broke two picture frame, a porcelain swan his partner stood on top of the radiator cover that her deceased mother had custom made and bent both sides in. The sheetrock work is shaby. She asked him to remove a hump before putting up the new sheetrock he said trust him it won't have a hump and it does. She had two post on each side of the mantel he broke them and he tried to use compound to fix it and moved them to the back of the mantel. He tore up the molding and threw them away. So there was nothing humble about her experience with him. Humble would have been preparing the work area before he started, telling the customer that you broke something, asking for a ladder oppose to standing on someone's furniture. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone that is why I gave him one star I tried to post with no stars but it wouldn't let me. If you don't know what your doing go to school, watch YouTube and practice but please stop taking peoples hard earned money and then call yourself humble."

"I hired Francis to sheetrock my living room. The job is not acceptable. There was a hump on the old ceiling. I told him to cut the section out or the same hump would appear on the new sheetrock. He promised it would not. He was wrong. He broke a few of my belongings. He came unprepared for the job. He filled my home with so much dust because he didn’t have the proper equipment. Do not use this company."

"I ordered an over the range microwave with installation from Home Depot. What an ordeal, started before Thanksgiving and after 3 attempts on the installation was told they don't install into concrete ( my drywall is over concrete). This last attempt was this morning. I really was starting to panic as Christmas is coming. I looked on line for help and saw the post from the "humble African handyman". He doesn't live too far from me so I called him to see if he could help. He came over around 1PM and tried to do the work. After a while he realized he needed some different kinds of screws for the concrete. I went to HD to pick up the parts and he came back to my house around 3:15 to finish the job. There were some wrinkles that he worked around but got the job done. What a nice guy, him and his "laborer" companion. During the job the "laborer" showed that he had a fair share of know how also. These guys will be first on my list for any handyman jobs in the future. Tom"

"I recently arrived in Philadelphia to help my son move into an apartment near Penn, thinking it would be in move-in condition, as promised. To say it was a mess is an understatement. I feel so fortunate to have found Humble African Handyman— honestly don’t know what we would have done without him. He arrived early the next morning as scheduled, on time, and installed new flooring and quarter round, painted the entire apartment, installed a new light/ceiling fan. There were some hiccups due to the age and state of the apartment but Francis figured it all out and did an outstanding job for us, working late into the night to finish. He has a great work ethic, provides excellent work and service at a fair price. He is now the go-to handyman for anything my son or any of his friends need. Really can not recommend him highly enough."
