"Our wedding party had our unofficial rehearsal dinner here on 9/29. The staff were able to keep our two tables together and on 1 tab. Marshall Stone was playing that night and everyone enjoyed his music. The food was very good despite the busy crowd. Everyone enjoyed their time to unwind before a busy (but amazing) wedding day. Thanks to the staff at the Public House at the Markets for great service and food and to Marshall Stone for the fun music."

"Stopped here with my boyfriend as we were driving through town. We had never been here before. It was Sunday during brunch hours. I ordered a water and the avocado & egg toast and my boyfriend ordered a grapefruit crush and the brewers breakfast. My toast was pretty decent but I wished a different bread was used, something thicker that would leave me full for more than 30 mins. It left me wanting another meal within the hour. Also, some of the bacon was undercooked, which is not my thing. My boyfriends breakfast plate was ok. He said eggs, potatoes, and sausage were average. The grapefruit crush was delicious and by far the best item we got. Upon receiving the bill, I was surprised to see a $2.00 charge for potatoes. That was part of the meal, according to the menu. He didnt get/order extra potatoes, just what came with the meal. The menu never said anything about there being an extra fee neither did our waitress. While it was only $2.00, it definitely left a bad impression."

"Ordered a bowl of chili and thought they were mistaken and gave me a cup instead. Asked to show me the difference between a cup and a bowl (both disposable due to not currently having a dishwasher). The bowl of soup was 16 ounces, but looked like a cup and the cup size ($6) looked like a side item size. Not worth the $9 menu price. Would never fill a guy's appetite. The party I was with agreed with me. Manager did credit me $4.50. The sandwiches looked good and I did taste the fish sandwich, which was decent. Also, order had to be placed at a designated area by the open bar area. Server brought food over and that was it so it was a step away from self serve. We even had to get our own drinks and bring them back to the table. A band was playing and a corn hole tournament was going on at the same time. $3 beer drafts (3 kinds) are available on Wednesdays (night we were there) and Thursdays. Great open atmosphere, and has potential, but not what it could be."

"Simply one of the best restaurants in the area. The beer is great. The selection has a lot of variety and flavor types... so you are not just stuck with different versions of a hoppy beer or wheat beer. The pretzel was huge and had some of the best beer cheese I have ever had (and I have had a bit). The wings were meaty and fresh with great flavor. Everyone liked the nachos too! I had a burger that had fresh meat and was delicious, and not a premade patty like some other places. It had live in music too! The family loved it, but also great for a date night or hanging with friends."
