"After recently losing my accountant, I heard about CSI group on the radio and how reasonable the prices were. Well I got to say that I'm disappointed. The service felt impersonal, I really didn't speak to an accountant. Just the person that confirmed they receive my paperwork and then another person called me to tell me how much I was getting and how much my rate would be. The charge was unreasonably higher than I've ever paid for the service I received. I wouldn't have mind paying what I paid if I could have sat with someone and ask questions regarding taxes. I'm paying more than what my refund will be."
"If having your taxes prepared by a machine that doesn't care about customer service than this is the outfit for you! After paying their fee I asked when I would be provided a copy of my return. I was told I would receive it when my return was acknowledged and approved by the IRS. I've sent several emails asking when my return was submitted and what does "approved by the IRS" mean. I haven't received a response. I call and am hung up on. I think their $350 fee for a federal and one state return was high for such lousy service (if they're going to give cut rate service their fees should be scaled accordingly). Next year I'll definitely be using one of their competitors."
