"I will not return to Jackson Hewitt. This was my third and last year. I’m disgusted. First the man in the office looked at the W2s of my husband and I and he said, “You all make a lot of money.” Then when we arrived to sign for our completed return, he told us that he had lost our original documents. No apology was offered. Then he told us our fee this year was $450.00 for a standard return. Last year we paid $235.00 and this year it’s $450.00 and you lost my original documents? Even when I used a corporate accountant it was never more than $275.00. Then he promised he’d find our documents. He contacted my 3 days later. When I went in to pick up the papers he laughed and told me I had nothing to worry about and wanted to chat with me. Nope, I’m done. I’m amazed at how unprofessional the whole situation was. PLEASE DONT TRUST THIS LOCATION (Runnemede) OR THIS COMPANY."

"My tax preparer at JH is awesome! I saw her this year and last year. She's always so thorough in explaining how everything is calculated so I understand exactly what's going on. Other than being great at her job she is sweet and friendly, just a pleasure to see her. The only downfall to having taxes done at JH is the crazy fee that they charge (obviously NOT the preparers fault which us why I still rated 5 stars). It's easy to make an appointment online and then you sit with your preparer and they explain everything to you. And it's really nice to be able to get some of the refund early!"
