"I recently had my hardwood floor’s refinished by Blue Knight and I offer the following suggestions if you are considering hiring them to do your work. 1. Measure your own floors before seeking an estimate. 2. Get the cell phone number of the owner of the company. 3. Ask about providing access to a 220v power supply. 4. Don’t disconnect the ice maker from the fridge and don’t expect to have the fridge moved out from the wall. 5. Inspect the floors after sanding but prior to the application of any sealers, stains or poly finishes. Reject any areas of the floors that appear to be wavy or where any sanding marks are visible. 6. After the initial down payment, do not pay anything else until the job is finished and you are completely satisfied with all aspects of the work. 7. Don’t expect much communication from Blue Knight."
