About the Business
Crossroads Inc is a private academic program located at 1243 Roemer Boulevard in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Our program is designed for students who may not thrive in a traditional classroom setting, providing a safe and structured environment where individual attention is given to each student. We aim to instill self-esteem and self-discipline in our students, preparing them to return to their regular school setting.
Our program is housed in two separate facilities, accommodating both male and female students from 6th to 12th grade. We believe that educating boys and girls in different buildings creates a safer and more focused educational environment. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate their readiness to return to their home school after 45 school days at Crossroads.
In addition to our academic program, Crossroads Group Homes and Services offer therapeutic and rehabilitative support for at-risk adolescents in a community-based, residential group home setting. Our mission is to teach adolescents the skills needed for successful reintegration into their families and communities, or prepare them for independent living.
We provide out-patient clinical counseling services, behavior modification interventions, and family counseling services to support the holistic development of our residents. Our dedicated staff, including Executive Director Alex Giroski, Education Director April Kohnen, and Residential Director Anthony Retone, are committed to providing high standards of care and accountability for each individual student.
