"I have a rather simple tax situation but I was there for 4 hours. The appointment started 40 minutes late. The website advertises 50% off for new customers, but the amount of the discount was closer to 33%. The agent I was working with was not very knowledgeable. I schedule an in-person appointment with hopes of understanding my tax situation but more often found myself explaining how things worked to the actual person filing my taxes. I will not return to Jackson Hewitt and will be encouraging others to consider alternative options."
