"I purchased a new pair of shoes but because the heel was a little high, I went to Cobbler and asked if they could be cut down by a half inch and was told that it was doable. Well it should have been simple. I picked up my shoes today and the top line of the shoe was peeled up on both pairs, scratched up and black dirt was rubbed into the shoe and would not come off. The repairman was insulting; insisting that he could clean the shoe and it was just dirt. He was so focused on the dirt but gave no attention to the top line peeling and scratches that were not repairable! I left the shoes and returned almost 2 hours later to find a big glob of glue added to the top line of the shoe, dirt still embedded and scratches not removed! I was very upset because all he did was a bandaid affect and insisted that it looked better than what it looked like from the first pick up. Are you kidding? The shoes were new but returned to me used! I asked for a refund since the shoes were just a mess and to add insult, he handed me the shoes saying that I obviously needed the money. Interesting! I bought designer shoes, paid for the heel to be cut and I needed the money? Such an arrogant person. DO NOT patron this store. Horrible service! Horrible behavior! Horrible person! Wish I could give it 0 stars! Ugh!"

"Extremely disappointed in the shoddy quality of work. One of the seams where work was done is completely bungled and misaligned. The other seam wasn’t even closed. It’s hard to believe that a business owner could hand over such poor work with a straight face."

"I called to make sure they can resole cowboy boots. They said yes no problem. I ask if they closed at 5 he said no we are here until 6. I get there at 4:15 and the door was locked. I knocked on the door, I called. There was not a note on the door or anything. Great way to not get new business. UPDATE: Owner responded, ask for me to call. I called, and the guy answered..."Hello" not what the name of the business is. Sounded like he could care less that i called a business. I ask for Joe or Mildred, he said they are not in, but they would come in next week. To the owners, I do appreciate that you responded, but with the lack of professionalism, do you really think I would trust your business? Generally if somebody is going to to have any shoe resoled, they care for them. If your employees cant even answer the phone and speak with any professionalism, don't expect many new customers."

"I supported this business because of the reviews, and it was near my home. I took two Louis Vuitton bags for repair. The cost was ninety-five dollars, and the quality of work is poor. He Glued a piece of leather around the bag where it had separated, and he used four old screws to the handle of my other bag. I could have went to home depot and fixed my own bag for ninety-five dollars. I definitely do not recommend this place. It is a complete rip-off. He did not provide a receipt or bag for my purses. I tried to contact the owner, but he refused to give me the information. I have to spend more money to have it done correctly."

"Julian did an amazing last-minute job on my shoes on a busy Saturday afternoon. It was my birthday so him squeezing me in less than 90 mins from closing was beyond appreciated. While I was there, a lady came in and was rather rude to him, yet Julian handled her quite professionally. At the end of her situation, she realized that she was partially at fault for the confusion because she accidentally gave him misinformation. Even though I live near Rhode Island metro, I will absolutely continue to patronize this business out in Largo because they have not only great results in terms of the repaired shoes I saw while waiting, but they are also professional, swift, and just plain old good people. You don't see that combination too often so they are definitely worthy of my money. Oh, and they are reasonably priced too!"
