"In my opinion, this Starbucks inside the Safeway in Arnold is much better than the one on Ritchie Highway, next to Chic-fil-a in Severna Park. I started regularly going to the Arnold Starbucks to get my coffee mainly because of two people on staff there who deserve recognition for consistently making quality coffee while so much more … Stephen & Kai 1. They ALWAYS acknowledge & welcome me in all forms of waking up. I’ve come in looking ROUGH from working nights & never felt any sort of judgement… 2. They both generally treat me & my seven year old with such kindness & respect EVERY SINGLE TIME we go in… 3. Kai & Stephen know my drinks & style - I am always a “light on the syrup” & “not too sweet” human & they both remember that, ask me if I wanted it half sweet if I don’t mention it up front … 4. It’s not an easy job & on days where things go wrong or people are rude, both Kai & Stephen recognize anyone waiting, bring the zen & get their job done …. No drama 5. I have lived in DC & NYC for many years & these two people in particular HUSTLE! I don’t see a lot of younger people hustling around Annapolis & I can’t imagine what Kai or Stephen are capable of in any field. 6. I am not one who posts a lot of reviews, but someone out there needs to read this & know there are at least two incredible people working over at the Safeway Starbucks in Arnold who deserve recognition. 7. HEY STARBUCKS ! You don’t find people with qualities like the ones above & I hope they are paid well. 8. HEY EVERYONE ! TIP YOUR BARISTA !! SUPPORT THEIR DREAMS!! DON’T JUST TAP & GO !!! DUHH"

"I usually never have complaints but I was completely ignored by the employee, he was actively attending other customers at the moment as well. I would’ve understood if he told me it was going to take a minute or at least let me know he was closing early. I was the only one left in line and I was completely dismissed."

"This Starbucks is the only convenient location on my way to work but I always wish I go out of my way to go to a different one. This one is always understaffed and there is always a long line. I can’t tell you how many times my drink was overflowing and leaking out the lid. They just need to do better."
